About the Owner
Her name is Alicia Rassias-Renard
Alicia Rassias-Renard has 500-hours combined Registered Yoga Teacher Training with 100 hours in Gentle Somatic Yoga. She is a Master Reiki Practitioner and is currently studying to become a Master Integrated Somatic Practitioner. After over 20 years of personal yoga practice, Alicia suffered a hamstring injury in a Power Vinyasa class. The injury, in large part due to hypermobility, led to years of chronic pain. This drove her to create a supportive program, specifically designed to meet the needs of those living with hypermobility and chronic pain, while still appealing to the seasoned practitioner. The result: a trauma-informed approach that blends somatic movement, structurally sound yoga poses, meditation, and Reiki energy healing for a fresh take on holistic wellness.
Alicia finds her own healing, peace, and grounding outdoors—hiking, kayaking, gardening and keeping bees. Ten years of raising Monarch butterflies and conservation served as inspiration for her business name, logo and underlying theme of transformation. The natural world encapsulates the beauty of resilience, the strength in surrender and the wisdom in adapting. You can hear these lessons woven into each of her classes.
Guided by personal insight, compassion and embodied wisdom, Alicia strives to remind students that no matter where they have come from, who they have been, or what they have been through they have the ability to reclaim a sense of safety and strength and the ability to thrive.
